A vital component of the SAVE project is the Small Grants Program supports non-governmental organizations that directly contribute to SAVE’s objectives through creative and innovative local initiatives to improve the management and use of Cyprus’ rich natural and cultural resources

SAVE implemented 31 grants with total funding for the program of $690,000 from 2007 to 2011.  The maximum award value possible for any grant was capped at $50,000.
